Rights Respecting Schools

At Preston Lodge we have an active and enthusiastic group of pupils from S1 to S6 who are working together to ensure that the school community puts equality, participation, dignity, respect and non-discrimination at the heart of everything we do.

We have gained our Silver award and are now moving towards making Preston Lodge a Gold achieving school.  This year we will see a wide range of activities both within and across our community as well as globally.  We will be ensuring that we are adopting a child rights approach to everything we do on a daily basis and that the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child is firmly embedded in our school policy.

Our aim is to ensure pupil voice is an integral part of our learning here at Preston Lodge with a view to ensuring each pupil reaches their maximum potential.
