Throughout the academic year, all pupils will experience 6 periods of certificated Higher PE. 2 of these periods will be designated theory periods and the other 4 will be practical PE lessons.
The academic year is structured into 3 specific blocks, in order to cover all the different facets of the course and to allow pupils the opportunity to gain experience in different activities.
We aim to deliver content that is transferable to both practical and theoretical based lessons.

It gives candidates an opportunity to demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and understanding: analysing factors that impact on performance explaining a range of approaches for developing performance analysing the recording, monitoring and evaluation of performance development.
