21/10/25  Today we read a story about a rabbit who wanted to do more than dream about carrots (like everyone else) and hop and bounce (like everyone else)! Bernard wanted to be himself. 

We had a thought provoking discussion afterwards: ' If everyone was the same, no one would learn new things' ....  ' If everyone 'be'ed' the same, then the world wouldn't be fun...'  If everyone is the same, you're all acting the same, you can't do your own thing...' This led us to think about things that girls liked to do but were told they couldn't do, like football - and also things boys might like to do, like dance.
