Weilburg

The town Weilburg at the river Lahn, between Wetzlar and Limburg, is about an hour to drive from Frankfurt/Main. Weilburg separates the Westerwald and the Taunus mountains. The castle from Renaissance time and also the castle church and the castle garden from Baroque time are very popular. Weilburg has got a very nice old town, a zoo called the „Tiergarten“ in the district of Hirschhausen, the Kubacher Crystal Cave and many events like the „Schlosskonzerte“ and "Pop am Fluss ".
