January:
We started our project by designing our project website. We learned 3D-programming to design 3D- printable furnitures for our wooden miniature house that we are going to make. We also learned to use video editing programs.
February
In February we learned to use the 3D- printing program and printed some furnitures for our tiny house. We continued to edit some videos and got in touch with other pupils via Twinspace. We had a lecture on the culture and foods of Spain. We continued designing and printing furniture and started designing and making the mini house. We printed prototypes of window frames. We decided that we will use magnets to keep parts of the house together. The type of the house is going to be a model of a traditional Finnish log house. We painted it and assembling the window frames.
March:
We finished the house and painted it. We were in contact with Spanish pupils to design frames for house lighting to be added in Spain. Added material to Twinspace. We also made plans for a trip to Spain and checked that everything is ok for the trip.
April
We 3D- printed window frames, made our house out of plywood and we made opening to the plywood for the windows with a lasercutter.
We prepared a presentation about our school and we painted our house red and planned what we are going to do here in Finland with out quests from Spain and Germany.
We edited introduction videos and we made tutorial videos for Sketchup. We also planned our schedule. We planned the instructions and groups for the Sketchup exercise. We prepared for the arrival of the Spanishs and Germans pupils and teachers.
