Since most high school students have not had college experiences they often want know more information, but they do not know what to ask. The list on the right can help students think about what they need to know when they talk to college admission counselors.

Does your school use or recommend the Common App or any other application/scholarships apps or websites?
What kind of things about a student usually stand out on a college application?
What is the minimum GPA I can have and still get accepted?
What kind of scholarships does your school offer?
What is the average SAT/ACT score for accepted students?
Does it matter when I apply?
Are the class sizes usually large?
Does the campus have a low crime rate?
Do most students live on campus?
Are there many clubs, sororities/fraternities, and other extracurricular activities?
If I need help, is it easy to find a tutor on campus?
Do most students like the food that is on campus?
What are the dorms like?
