    • Weather is what we experience everyday.
    • We use wind, cloud coverage, precipitation, and temperature to describe weather.
  • Wind
    • Wind is one part we use to describe weather.
    • It can be really windy, a little breezy, or calm.
    • We use what is called an anemometer to measure the speed of the wind.
  • Cloud Coverage
    • We describe weather by how many clouds we see in the sky.
    • It can be clear, partly cloudy, or really cloudy!
  • Precipitation
    • Wow- that’s a big word! Precipitation is a fancy word for rain or any other water that comes from the sky.
    • It can be dry, rainy, sleeting, hailing, or snowy.
    • We can use a rain gauge to measure how much rain we get.
  • Temperature
    • We use temperature to describe our weather.
    • It may be hot, warm, cool, or cold.
    • We can use a thermometer to help us measure temperature.
  • Watch this!
