Fall 2026
In music class this fall, 2nd graders will be working on the following skills:
-Singing in tune, alone and with others
-Beginning part singing through rounds
-Playing unpitched percussion instruments and xylophones
-Playing musical games
-Practicing reading music through solfege (Pitch) and reading rhythms, including quarter notes, eighth notes, and half notes
-Working in groups to create original rhythms
