-Practicing the steady beat and the rhythm
-Learning how to read the rhythms "ta" and "titi" (quarter notes and eighth notes)
-Identifying higher and lower pitches
-Moving with music
-Listening to, learning about, and playing percussion instruments with the song "In the Hall of the Mountain King"
