Theater for All is a performing arts class that pairs disabled students with non-disabled peers to produce and perform a musical. Students learn singing, dancing, and acting skills as well as basic set, costume, make-up, and lighting design skills. Students work with their partners to learn these skills to create a student-produced and directed show. During rehearsals, students also learn to communicate and collaborate effectively, successfully, and creatively. Non-disabled students learn how their skills can be used to serve the community, and disabled students learn how their voices and identities can shine in public and on the stage.
