There is a huge range of manipulatives available, including number lines, fractions, tables, cartesian plane, probability tools, currency, chess, music, time, and more! A really useful tool for young people who may struggle to visualise maths problems or concepts.

Amplify is a website with a huge range of ready to teach maths lessons. These lessons are categorised by year level and provide interactive opportunities for young people to develop their maths learning. The lessons include educator notes, examples, presentations, and opportunities for students to test their understanding. Some units are linked to Polypad, Mathigon, and/or Desmos.

The Mathigon website hosts a range of maths courses, resources, activities, and full lessons. These encompass the four main maths streams (Geometry, Numbers, and Algebra, Probability and Statistics). Mathigon also has a range of digital tools to provide learning opportunity around fractals, timelines, graph theory, and symmetry.

The Math Learning Centre is a US organisation that provides training to educators around the world. Their site is particularly useful because they list a series of free maths apps as well as a free 'Math at Home' curriculum with fully accessible maths lessons and resources.

The Desmos website has a range of maths tools available. These include 3D mapping, Geometry mapping, and Graphing. These resources are particularly useful for older children, however because they are very user friendly, they are a great way to introduce concepts such as coordinates, the cartesian plane, and negative numbers to younger learners.
The graphing calculator is a really fantastic way for older children to show mastery in their learning and create something truly artistic!

The Red Dragonfly Maths Challenge is a site published by NSW Department of Education and is an English adaptation of the Math Brain Quiz (Red), a Japanese problem solving book.
The site asks learners to work through a range of problems and promotes critical thinking and mathematical reasoning. The challenges are designed to be quick, with learners giving each challenge approximately five minutes before enquiring about how to find the solution.
