The Home Education Association of Australia supports home educators across Australia with news, resources and advice for its members.
The HEA upholds the principle that parents are primarily responsible for the education of their children and respects the diversity of philosophies and methods used by home educators.
The mission of the HEA is to promote and support the practice of home education across Australia and to advance educational equity for members.
The HEA is fully volunteer run and is a not-for-profit organisation.

The 7-9 curriculum focuses on developing future citizenship while achieving the ACARA 7-9 outcomes. The 10-12 curriculum focuses on developing employability while achieving the Highschool certificate outcomes.
Students using the Inventorium curriculum are encouraged to learn at their own pace spending 3-4 hours a day on their learning.

Minecraft Education is a program designed to be a completely immersive educational experience. In this version of Minecraft, there are hundreds of ready to use lessons and resources that align to the curriculum. From English (work through the setting of Macbeth), History (discover ancient civilisations and the wonders of the world), Maths (PiCraft and Ratio Riddles), to Science (Explore rocket building and the International Space Station), Minecraft Education offers students a familiar platform to explore learning in a fun way.
Minecraft Education also offers free online training courses for educators to better navigate the program and make the most of all available learning opportunities.

Oak National Academy is a website that provides full and free access to thousands of resources across curriculum areas. The site is broken down into subject areas and stage of learning. It provides full unit scopes made up of multiple lessons which include teaching instruction, notes, slide decks, worksheets, quizzes, and accompanying videos. A comprehensive set of ready to use plans and lessons.

Version 8.4 of the Australian Curriculum was used in schools until 2024, when Version 9 was introduced. This remains an excellent resource, particularly when gauging what a standard level of achievement is for different year levels and learning area as there are extensive work samples on this site.

Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum launched in schools in 2023 and is the current Curriculum taught in schools nationally. There remain many similarities to Version 8.4 (the previous version). As this site is still undergoing development around providing work samples, it can be used in conjunction with the Version 8.4 site to provide a greater understanding of what achievement looks like in each year level for each learning area.

The Australian Curriculum is a huge (and often confusing) website written for teachers in school settings. This can mean that it is difficult to understand and break down. The Queensland Curriculum & Assessment Authority has put together some excellent resources around breaking down Version 9 of the curriculum.
