Meet our Team

I am from a small town, called Plamondon. It is located two and half hours North East from Edmonton. I grew up there and moved to Edmonton to go to university. I attended Concordia University College. From a small age I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and a mom. I feel incredibly blessed to be both. In University I met my husband. We were married the year after I graduated and we have two children. Our children our now teenagers. It is crazy how fast time goes.

I have seventeen years of teaching experience ranging from Kindergarten to grade 6. My absolute favourite though is Kindergarten! I have ten years experience at this grade level. I am passionate about teaching, it is my calling, my purpose and my gift. I strongly believe in the the value of play, learning through nature and experience.

Kindergarten is a special year where children experience school for the first time and navigate so many new experiences on their own. I love watching them grow and being a part of their first year of education.

I have lived in Spruce Grove my whole life, and am so happy to be back after living in the city for two years. I went to elementary school right here at St. Joseph! It is such an incredible experience to work in the same school that I have so many wonderful childhood memories in.

I graduated from the University of Alberta in 2018 and have taught Grade Three and Kindergarten since then at St. Joseph School. I am entering my second year as a Kindergarten teacher and I truly believe I found my calling in education. I feel honoured to be a part of a child's first year of school, and look forward to helping them grow each and every day. Kindergarten is filled with love, learning and magic! I can not wait to get to know all of you and your beautiful children next year!
