The Rock County Phased Reopening guidance plays a central role in our reopening planning. The district will base its instructional models upon the county's announced phase.
Rock County's recommendation for face coverings in schools can be found here.
The Wisconsin DPI's Education Forward offers several recommendations on instructional models for Wisconsin schools and encourages localized planning based on a district and community's unique needs.
The roadmap is informed by evidence-based public health and education emergency operations planning best practices and the direct feedback of epidemiologists, child infectious disease physicians, psychologists, district superintendents, leaders of public charter school management organizations, and school leaders.
The AAP's COVID-19 Planning Considerations are meant to " to support education, public health, local leadership, and pediatricians collaborating with schools in creating policies for school re-entry that foster the overall health of children, adolescents, staff, and communities and are based on available evidence."
We want to hear your questions and concerns.
