Class Materials

In addition to their instrument, all students will need to bring the following to class every day:

1. Band Method Book

- 6^th Grade: Essential Elements 2000 Book 1

3. Music and scale sheets (provided)

4. Black 1” binder with several sheet protectors highly suggested. (6^th graders will need this during the 2^nd and 3^rd trimesters only.)

5. Pencil

6. Woodwind players: At least 3, size 3 reeds in good playing condition.

(Tenor and Baritone Saxophone and Bass Clarinet players are allowed to use size 2 ½ reeds.)

-Cork Grease

7. Brass Players: Valve Oil

8. Cleaning Rag/Polishing Cloth/Cleaning swab (Instrument appropriate)

9. Percussionists must have sticks and mallets
