Podcast Script & Podcast 

Artifact Introduction: 

This module contains my Podcast Script & Podcast on the topic of teaching and learning in the 21st Centruy. My partner and I engaged in a detailed discussion to answer the following questions:

How strongly do you feel your students are prepared for the 21st century? 

How strongly do you feel that you are prepared for the 21st century?

Module 2 Objectives/Goals:

• Read and explore resources related to the expectations and modeling associated with teaching and learning in the 21st Century.

• Work in pairs to develop a podcast script and a podcast audio file disucssing a topic(s) involving teaching and learning in the 21st Centruy.

• Utilize Zencastr or another free podcasting platform to create your finished product. 

Reflection:

Completing this project really pushed me out of my comfort zone. I had never created a podcast of this complexity before and wasn't at all familiar with the Zencastr plaform. However, having the ability to work with a partner was very helpful for me in troubleshooting and navigating this unfamiliar technology. Through the process, I learned a lot about my partner's perspective on 21st Century teaching and learning, and ways she and other educators are working to prepare their students for success. I also learned new and innovative ways to help prepare my students to use EdTech in their everyday learning experiences. As a result, I plan to implement podcasting into my teaching practices to give my students a voice that will reach beyond the classroom.
