Teams Calder and Loxley have been very successful in their writing this week and really enjoyed making models to show how the heart works in science.
Next week:
We will be visiting Selby High on Wednesday.
English: we will be starting our independent narrative based on a child working in a Victorian mill
Maths: We will be looking at perimeter.
Curriculum: We will be looking at how the industrial revolution advanced technology.
Science: The children will be learning about how nutrients and water travel around our body.
PSHE: The children will learning about emergency aid.

P.E. is on now on Tuesday and Thursday. Children need to come dressed in PE kit for the whole day. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).
Homework will be set this week.
If children cannot access the internet at home, sheets can be requested for homework.
Reading: The children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown-up. This needs to be recorded in their reading records.
Spelling: The children will be expected to play a minimum of 5 games of the set spelling rule on EdShed.
Maths: The children will have a task set on My Maths.
Children are expected to access TTRockstars a minimum of 3 times a week.
