Good afternoon,

What a busy first week back the children have had!

Next week will be the final week of the topic 'Where do we live?'. In Science, the children will present a weather forecast in groups to their team.

Year 1 Maths

The children will be continuing to focus on addition and subtraction stories, writing equations to match along with working out a missing part if the other two parts of the equation are known. 

Year 2 Maths

The children are continuing to learn about multiplication. We will be focusing on how a multiplication equation with two as a factor is related to doubling. They will be multiplying efficiently when one of the factors is two.
