Good afternoon,
How on earth are we heading to the last week before Christmas - this half term has flown by! The children have done a fabulous job with their letters for Elon Musk this week. Watch this space for cheaper or smaller Tesla’s if he follows their advice! They have also had a wonderful time working with Drax Power Station and going on a local area walk.
Don’t forget to keep checking Twitter to see what learning we have been up to!
Coming up next week:
Monday morning and Wednesday afternoon are our Christmas performances - please see Parent Hub for further details.
Thursday am is the pantomime - please can children be in school for 8:25.
Thursday pm is our Christmas party. Party clothes may be brought in a named bag for the children to change into once back at school. Please can children also bring their food donation of sweet items (e.g. cakes, biscuits, sweets, etc) in the morning as well.
English: the children will be writing a short narrative based on a Christmas scene.
Maths - the children will be learning about the order of operations
Curriculum - the children be creating a digit map based on their local area walk.
There is no homework set this week.
Thank you for your continued support,
Kind regards,
Mrs Danbury
