Team HUMBER (year 6)

Good afternoon, 

Due to transition to high schools over the next two weeks, there is no maths and spelling homework required so children have time to discuss their days and any worries at home. Please can reading still be completed.  

Next week: 

Monday and Tuesday is Selby High transition. 

Wednesday, we will be helping with EYFS’s Sports Day and children can come in PE kit. 

Friday is Sports Day. Year 6 will be outside all day - they help run the KS1 event as well. Please ensure they are dressed appropriately for the weather. 

PSHE: we will be learning about puberty and reproduction. We will also continue looking at health relationships in terms on what online grooming may look like. 

P.E is on Tuesday and Thursday. Children need to come dressed in PE kit for the whole day. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).
