Teams Calder and Loxley have had a great week and really enjoyed their taster day at Selby High School.
Next week:
Monday and Tuesday will be transition days where the children will be spending the day in their new teams.
Thursday; Break the rules day.
English: we will be completing our independent narrative based on a child working in a Victorian mill
Maths: We will be continuing to look at perimeter.
Curriculum: We will be looking at how the industrial revolution advanced technology.
Science: The children will be learning about how nutrients and water travel around our body.
PSHE: The children will be learning about emergency aid.

Homework will be set this week.
If children cannot access the internet at home, sheets can be requested for homework.
Reading: The children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown-up. This needs to be recorded in their reading records.
Spelling: The children will be expected to play a minimum of 5 games of the set spelling rule on EdShed.
Maths: The children will have a task set on My Maths.
Children are expected to access TTRockstars a minimum of 3 times a week.
