Good afternoon,
Team Humber had a fabulous time at Bagshaw Museum. They particularly enjoyed the mummification session!
Next week:
Friday is our trip to Bagshaw Museum.
English: We will be independently planning and writing a story based on exploring an Egyptian tomb.
Maths: We will exploring how to use short division for both 1 and 2 digit numbers.
PSHE: We will be looking at peer pressure and how people might feel if something is being organised that makes them feel uncomfortable.
Science: We will be continuing our new topic on light and looking at how light travels from a source into our eye?
P.E is on Tuesday and Friday. Children need to come dressed in PE kit for the whole day. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).
Homework will be set this week.
Reading: The children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown-up. This needs to be recorded in their reading records.
Spelling: The children will be expected to play a minimum of 5 games of the set spelling rule on EdShed.
Maths: The children will have a task set on My Maths.
Children are expected to access TTRockstars a minimum of 3 times a week.
