Good afternoon,
It’s been another super week in Teams Loxley and Calder ending with our fantastic trip to Bagshaw Museum today!
Next week:
English: We will be independently planning and writing a story based on exploring an Egyptian tomb.
Maths: We will be completing our learning on decimals.
PSHE: We will be starting our unit on Hopes and Dreams and thinking about equality, including looking at racism.
Science: We will be continuing to look at how light travels from a source into our eye?
P.E is now every Tuesday and Friday. Children need to come dressed in PE kit for the whole day. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).
Homework will be set this week.
If children cannot access the internet at home, sheets can be requested for homework.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
Thank you for your continued support,
Mrs Lazenby and Miss Austwick
