Team HUMBER (year 6)

Good afternoon, 

The children had a fantastic time at their final sports day on Thursday. They also have been working incredibly hard to show the best version of themselves in their writing, writing detailed stories that help bring characters to life through their use of speech. 

Next week: 

Wednesday is Bikeability for Group 1. Please see Parent Hub for group details. 

Thursday Horton Park will be visiting us to spend time building relationships. 

Friday is a non-uniform day in exchange for a tombola prize. 

Throughout the week, children will access the RSE learning - please see Parent Hub for additional information. 

English: we will be writing a story about the short film, The Lighthouse. 

Maths: we will be continuing to deepening our understanding of algebra.  

Curriculum: we will be learning about what tsunamis are and how they occur. 

PSHE: we will be looking at how people can overcome disability and celebrating achievements people have made.
