Team HUMBER (year 6)

Good afternoon, 

The children have had a very busy week, starting off with Krishna from the Hindu Education Centre and then our visit to Armley Mills. There are lots of pictures on our Twitter account. 

Coming up next week: 

English: the children will be writing stories based on the short film, Alma. 

Maths - the children will be exploring coordinates on both 1 and 4 quadrants. 

Curriculum - the children will be looking at the occupations of the wealthy Victorians. 

Science - the children will be learning about what makes up blood and the functions of different parts. 

PSHE

Next week, the children will be looking at healthy relationships, including knowing how to recognise when a person may be trying to gain control. Part of this will be focusing on grooming.
