Team calder (year 5)

Good afternoon, 

Team Calder have worked so hard this half term and very much deserve a well-earned break!

Don’t forget to keep checking Twitter to see what learning we have been up to! 

There is no homework set this week. The next homework will be set after half term. 

After Half Term: 

We will be doing our challenge papers this week alongside our usual lessons.

English: We will be starting to write a disaster narrative based on a tsunami.

Maths: We will be continuing with multiplying fractions.

Art Day: We will be looking at the work of Brazilian artist Viktor Muniz and creating our own mixed media collages.

PSHE: We will be thinking about safe relationships, such as who would accept a gift from.

P.E is every Thursday and Friday. Children need to come dressed in PE kit for the whole day. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).  

If children cannot access the internet at home, sheets can be requested for homework.
