Good afternoon,
It has been another busy week in Team Calder. We have completed our exciting rainforest narratives this week and are looking forward to publishing them in an anthology.
Don’t forget to keep checking Twitter to see what learning we have been up to!
Coming up next week;
Curriculum: the children will be comparing daily life in the UK and Brazil.
English: we will be starting a diary entry linked to our rainforest learning.
Maths: the children will be looking at fractions.
Science: we will be investigating the life cycles of different animals
PSHE: We will be thinking about the importance of being respectful to everyone and to recognise and care about other people’s feelings.
P.E is every Thursday and Friday. Children need to come dressed in PE kit for the whole day. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).
Homework has been set today and is due next Friday.
If children cannot access the internet at home, sheets can be requested for homework.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
Thank you for your continued support,
Mrs Lazenby
