Team calder & Loxley (year 5)

Good afternoon, 

Teams Calder and Loxley have had a super week in school. Our Young Voices children gave a fantastic performance and the rest of the children excelled themselves in their sensory garden business challenge. They have all worked incredibly hard over this half term and deserve a lovely break.

After half term:

Friday will be our DT day where we will be designing a game based on Greek trivia.

English: we will be completing our independent  writing based on visiting sites in Ancient Greece.

Maths: We will be continuing our work on fractions.

Curriculum: We will be finding out about what the ancient Greeks believed in.

Science: We will be starting our unit on electricity and thinking about what an electrical circuit needs.

PSHE:  The children will be learning about rumours and name-calling.
