Good afternoon,
We have had another brilliant week in LKS2. We have started writing our independent non chronological reports about Polish food and we are looking forward to finishing these next week! In Geography, we looked at what daily life is like in Poland and compared this to the UK and created some wonderful two page spreads to showcase our learning.
Next week:
Year 3 and 4 will be completing their Spring challenge papers.
Maths: We will be continuing to round 4 digit numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000 and learning the 3 times tables.
English: We will be continuing to write an independent non chronological report about Polish food.
PSHE Y3: We will be continuing to look at positive friendships.
PSHE Y4: We will be continuing to look at positive friendships.
Homework:
Homework will be set on a Friday and is due the following Friday.
Reading: The children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown-up. Please record this in their reading records.
Spelling: The children will be expected to play a minimum of 5 games of the set spelling rule on EdShed.
Maths: The children will have a task set on My Maths.
Children are expected to access TT Rockstars or timestables.co.uk a minimum of 3 times a week.
If children cannot access the internet at home, sheets can be requested for homework.
Don’t forget to keep checking Twitter to see what learning we have been up to!
