Team HUMBER (year 6)

Good afternoon, 

The children have had a fabulous week in maths, where they have mastered dividing by a 1 digit number. They are feeling very proud of themselves! 

Don’t forget to keep checking Twitter to see what learning we have been up to! 

Coming up next week: 

English:  the children will be writing their final letter to Elon Musk. 

Maths - the children will be looking at formal division by a 2 digit numbers. 

Curriculum - the children will be going on a local area walk on Monday to see how our area could be further improved. 

PSHE

The children will be looking at how online conversations, especially on Whatsapp,  can be handled differently to help support relationships. 

Homework:

Reading: the children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown up. 

Spelling: the children need to complete at least 5 spelling games per week. 

Maths: the children will have a task set on My Maths.

Children are expected to access TT Rockstars a minimum of 3 times a week.
