Good afternoon,
This week, we have had our Learn Through Week which has looked at the theme of ‘Being The Best Version Of Yourself'. The children have reflected on what it means to be the best version of themselves, discussed how to make the right choice when in an adverse situation and written a fact file about Anne Frank. They also created some beautiful war artwork based upon the artist Stanley Lewis.
The children have also had their first yoga and communication session this week, which will run for 5 weeks to support them with developing their emotional wellbeing and ability to have conversations when in conflict.
Don’t forget to keep checking Twitter to see what learning we have been up to!
Next week we start our news topic ‘Why is the view from our window changing?:
Coming up next week:
The children will be doing their next set of challenge papers. As with last time, please remind them that they are only used to see where they might need further support and there will be questions that they can’t answer yet and that’s okay. These are the same messages we will give in school.
