Good afternoon,
This week the teams continued with our setting description writing genre, this time including a range of coordinating conjunctions. We collaborated together and wrote our paragraphs in pairs to share our wonderful thoughts and ideas. In History, we compared the similarities and differences between what life and society was like during Prehistoric Britain. We conducted our first investigation in Science to find out how much fat is in a selection of foods.
Next week:
Curriculum: We will be looking at the question ‘What did Prehistoric people believe?’
English: Next week we will be writing another setting description using subordinating conjunctions.
Maths: We will be focussing on rounding, comparing and ordering up to 4 digit numbers.
PSHE:
Y3: To know how to recognise different types of physical contact; what is acceptable and unacceptable; strategies to respond to unwanted physical contact.
Y4: To know what consent means in different situations. To know when it is appropriate to keep a secret and when it is appropriate to share a secret.
