Good afternoon, 

It was lovely to welcome all the children back this week! The children have settled in well and they have really enjoyed learning about our new topic ‘Did my grown ups play with the same toys as me?’ particularly the toy museum of Mr Willson’s childhood toys! 

Coming up next week: 

English- The children will begin to write their letters based on the book ‘The day the crayons quit’ We are writing to the new EYFS class discussing our favourite colours. 

Maths - 

Year 1 will be exploring counting within 100

Year 2 will be learning about the numbers 10-100 particularly multiples of 10.

PSHE-

Year 1 will be learning about how to recognise and name different feelings.

Vocabulary- Happy , Sad, Angry, Frustrated, Excited , Disappointed, Scared

Year 2 will be learning to know the different groups they belong to. 

Vocabulary- Community, Groups , Clubs, Friends, Family
