I have been married to my husband Ben since June of 2020. We have 2 children- one son and one daughter. Ben is a graduate of East Sac County, and I graduated from Storm Lake High School.

I graduated from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, IA in 2016 with a degree in K-12 Instrumental Music Education.

I started at East Sac County during the 2016-2017 school year, teaching K-6 elementary vocal music. Starting with the 2017-2018 school year, I began teaching 9-12 instrumental music, and I'm still here doing what I love! 

I fell in love with band and the French horn in 5th grade, and have never looked back! I still perform regularly on French horn with the Karl King Municipal Band in Fort Dodge, IA.
