About the class

Guitar is offered to any high school student, regardless of music knowledge or ability. This is a self-paced course; once students have learned some introductory information, they will work at their own pace throughout the semester. Students will learn to read notes and chord symbols, play individual notes on each string, play melodies, and strum chord accompaniment to a variety of songs.
