Grading Policy

All assignments will fall under one of three different categories:  supportive, secondary, or primary.  The breakdown of assignments and weighting is as follows:

Primary:  45%

Chapter tests, school-based projects, writing process pieces, on demand writing prompts

Secondary:  35%

graded practices, quizzes, Journeys standards based tests

Supportive:  20%

Homework, graded classwork

Grading Scale:

A:  92+

B:  83 - 91

C:  74 - 82

D:  73 - 65

F:  64 - 0
