What We Offer
The East Haven Family Resource Center partners with many other agencies and organizations in the community to offer various programs to serve East Haven children and families. Please click on each link for more information!
Weekly playgroups for children not yet school aged.
Personal visits using the “Parent as Teachers” curriculum. These visits include regular developmental screenings and can be in your home or a location that is comfortable for your family!
Parenting education workshops such as Circle of Security.
The FRC is affiliated with the full-time NAEYC accredited preschool for children ages 3 and 4 located at Overbrook Early Learning Center. Please contact Marissa Velazquez for more information.
FRC partnered services such as the East Haven Mobile Food Pantry and the East Haven Diaper Bank.
Resources and referrals that provide information and training to parents/families needing social, health, and community services.
Ongoing parenting support groups.
Support and training for in-home daycare providers including personal visits and professional development.
Community-wide events like the Week of the Young Child event each April.
Smaller group events collaborated with community organizations such as Overbrook Early Learning Center, East Shore District Health Department, and the Momauguin PTO.
English (ESL) and high school equivalency (GED) classes in collaboration with East Haven Adult Education.
