Apple ​Classroom is a powerful new iPad app that helps teachers guide learning, share work, and manage student devices. Teachers can launch a specific app, website, or textbook page on any device in the class, or share student work on a projector using Apple TV. Teachers can even see which apps students are working in, and lock student iPads into an app for the class period.

Google Apps for Education is a core suite of productivity applications that Google offers to schools and educational institutions. These communication and collaboration apps include Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs and Sites. All of these applications exists completely online (or in the cloud), meaning that all creations can be accessed from any device with an Internet connection. 

Skyward Mobile Access provides intuitive access for students, parents, and school staff that currently use skyward’s family access, student access, or employee access. Skyward mobile access will locate your district and take you instantly to your vital information such as grades, attendance, discipline, payroll, time off, and more.

Nearpod is an interactive presentation and assessment tool that can be used to amazing effect in the classroom. The app’s concept is simple. A teacher can create presentations that can contain quizzes, polls, videos, images, drawing-boards, web content and so on. The students can access a teacher’s presentation through a code. It is up to the teacher to then move the class through the presentation and let them interact with the media as they go or offer the presentation at the students pace.

Notability is one of the most versatile apps available for notes taking. You can type or write notes on notebooks and organize them into folders inside the app. However, it also lets you annotate PDFs, which can be great for grading student papers. Notability also records audio and lets you take notes at the same time. 

Kahoot! is a formative assessment tool for administering quizzes, discussions, or surveys. It is a game based classroom response system played by the whole class in real time. Multiple-choice questions are projected on the screen. Students answer the questions with their iPad.

Quizizz is a Learning platform that offers multiple tools to make a classroom fun, interactive and engaging. Teachers can create lessons, conduct formative assessments, assign homework, and have other fun and creative interactions with students in a captivating way. Quizizz offers multiple question and response types that allow for a variety of uses.
