Creating Lessons With Power Knowledge Science Suite
Amanda Karian, Library Specialist Jane King Science SpecialistParticipants will learn about this valuable science database that is both student and teacher friendly. It provides a variety of current articles in life, earth, and physical science. These articles are available in a variety of languages and can be read or listened to. The data base also provides a variety of teacher resources including curriculum correlations to the Next Generation Science Standards. Specific examples of lessons designed from the data base will be shared with participants. These lessons are appropriate for distance learning and for students at all ability levels.
Cross Curricular Choice Boards for the NYSSLS
