My issue is plastic pollution. I am interested in this issue because many people around the world know that plastic pollution is a problem but yet many people haven't taken action. I have learnt that Aspergillus tubingensis (Fungi) and caterpillars of the moth (Galleria mellonella) are capable of digesting a chemical called polyester polyurethane which is normally used in refrigerator insulation or synthetic leather. I am hoping that people who view my work will start understanding why plastic pollution is bad and start taking action.
