Next week, our Friends of Dwight have arranged a Uniform Swap to encourage parents to enhance the longevity of our school uniforms.
Look out for more information about our wide range of green projects in the special Sustainability Edition of the Parent Bulletin on 19th June.
This week, Ms Rafiq held a KG2 - Grade 1 transition event for KG2 parents and families. An overview of the session can be found in the presentation here. If your child is moving from KG2 to Grade 1, it is important to note there are some changes as they move into the grade.
We are doing lots of preparation already in KG2 to ready the children for the next step in their journey at Dwight and we have included tips in the slides of how you can support too. If you would like to discuss your child's move from KG2 to Grade 1, please reach out to Ms Rafiq or Ms Megan.

The Islamic Value for June is Honesty & Integrity (الأمانة والاستقامة), aligned with the IB Learner Profile attribute Principled (ذوو مبادئ).
This value encourages students to act with honesty, responsibility, and strong moral principles in all aspects of their learning, especially during the exam season.
We encourage parents to support and reinforce this value at home by discussing the importance of academic honesty, completing work independently, and taking responsibility for their preparation and effort. True success is built on integrity, consistent effort, and ethical behaviour.
We are proud to celebrate Ameera (Grade 11), one of our talented Dwight students whose passion for music continues to shine. Her dedication and artistry have seen her grow into a confident performer, achieving remarkable progress in both skill and stage presence.
Ameera truly embodies the Dwight spark of genius, and we look forward to supporting her at her upcoming solo piano concert, An Evening of Timeless Music, on 20th June at the House of Pianos.

Dear Parents,
Celebrating the Class of 2026
This week, we were delighted to celebrate our Grade 12 students through three special events marking the end of their high school journey. The annual Senior Walk provided a memorable opportunity for our graduates to walk through the school one final time as students, cheered on by younger students, staff and parents who have supported them throughout the years. It was a moment filled with pride, reflection, and appreciation for all they have contributed to our community. Later, students, families, and staff came together for a wonderful Soirée at the Hard Rock Café, celebrating the friendships and memories that have defined their time at Dwight.
On Thursday we celebrated the Class of 2026 and their incredible accomplishments, friendships and growth during the Graduation Ceremony. Throughout their time at Dwight, this exceptional group of students has contributed enormously to our school community. Whether through the arts, sport, exhibitions, service initiatives, leadership opportunities, or programmes such as Model United Nations, they have embraced opportunities with enthusiasm and represented the school with pride. Equally important have been their quieter contributions - the friendships they have built, the support they have shown one another, and the positive, inclusive culture they have helped create.
As they leave Dwight, our graduates take with them not only academic knowledge and qualifications, but also the curiosity, compassion, creativity, and global-mindedness that will serve them well in the future. Whether their next steps lead them towards science, engineering, medicine, business, entrepreneurship, the arts, law, international relations, sport, or service, they do so with the confidence to make a meaningful contribution to the world around them.
Congratulations, Class of 2026!
