Determine a facilitator for the PLT to type the agenda and facilitate the meetings for the semester or year.

Determine Team Roles and Responsibilities
Department teams meet at least once a week for one class period.
Department teams will utilize District Curriculum Guides to plan TEKS aligned experiences, so all students have access to the same knowledge and skills regardless of the teacher to whom they are assigned.
Department teams will create SMART goals and action plans based on students’ needs that align with building and district goals.
Department teams will focus on improving achievement for all students. PLTs will use student work, formative assessments, summative assessments, and standardized achievement data as evidence of student learning.
Department team leads will report progress by submitting meeting agendas and minutes to their building administrator(s) using common agenda templates.
Department teams will celebrate student and team successes weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
Department teams will report progress made towards their goals at the end of each 9 weeks to the department administrator(s).
