Plan ahead for all ARDs and 504 meetings and be prepared to discuss the following documentation (all documentation should be ready 48 hours before the meeting):
Grades
Work samples
Assessment data
Strengths
Behavior Concerns
Areas of improvement
Copy of current accommodations and modifications
Make note of your 504 and ARD meetings. They will be shared with you via email and on your calendar. Please arrive a few minutes early to ensure any potential technical difficulties have been taken into account.
Ensure that your meeting environment is free from distractions, and that you are meeting in a private space to maintain student privacy.
Your cameras MUST be on, to provide a professional experience to all in attendance.
If you are aware in advance of the lack of being able to attend a 504 or ARD meeting, please contact the appropriate individuals in a timely manner to allow the team to make necessary arrangements.
Teachers are responsible for implementing and being familiar with student accommodations. If there are any questions regarding the accommodations or anything in the IEP, please reach out to the case manager that provided the IEP to you.
Please keep in mind, inclusion does not remove a student from the classroom, they are included with their non-disabled peers.
If you are invited to an ARD or 504 meeting, you are responsible for providing up-to-date information and attaining new information about placement, modifications, and accommodations.
Once teacher input is requested, you must thoroughly complete the “Teacher Input” or “Teacher Information” form within 48 hours.
Decisions made during ARD and 504 committee meetings are legally binding. The campus is obligated to implement all decisions made.
It is essential to remove anything the student may not utilize so there are no legal issues when those things are not being used.
Signatures will be required upon completion of the meeting.
Once updated meeting documentation has been provided to teachers, a receipt of acknowledgement will also be required.
ARD and 504 meetings will take place via Zoom or Teams, unless a parent/guardian requests an in-person meeting.

For safety purposes, the district permits students to possess personal mobile telephones; however, these devices must remain turned off during the instructional day, including during all testing, unless they are being used for approved instructional purposes. The use of mobile telephones or any device capable of capturing images is strictly prohibited in locker rooms or restroom areas while at school or at a school-related or a school sponsored event. If a student uses a telecommunications device without authorization during the school day, the device will be confiscated. The telecommunications may be picked up by the parent from the campuses designated area for a fee of $15. Confiscated telecommunications devices that are not retrieved by the student or the student’s parents will be disposed of after the notice required by law.

Absences should be entered as soon as you know you will be absent.
If you desire to take a personal business day, you need to request permission in writing from your supervising administrator at least two weeks in advance.
It is your responsibility to secure a sub.
Every effort should be made to adhere to this policy by properly planning in advance.
Also be careful on the grades you will issue students when you return.
Do not write referrals based on what a substitute has stated.
For more assistance with Red Rover, please see the principal's secretary.
