To earn the DHS Engineering Certificate upon graduation, students must have no incidences of academic dishonesty or behaviorial referrals on record and accomplish the following.

will earn a distinction on their Engineering Certificate.
To be eligible for Certificate Completion, students must have declared in to the Academy by their sophomore year, following the timeline described HERE. During senior year, students will complete an online application and submit their portfolio for review by Academy staff, mentors, and alumni. If all requirements are verified as met and portfolio is deemed satisfactory by Academy staff, students will earn a pathway distinction on their transcript indicating their participation in the Dublin Engineering and Design Academy. Students will be awarded a certificate at Senior Awards and receive an engineering cord to wear during commencement. Seniors should look out for emails and Canvas announcements about completion requirements and interview scheduling so that they don't miss any important information.
