These 32 teams were selected from the top in each class out of over 150 teams this year. Working remotely to collaborate during shelter-in-place, these teams have all done tremendous work! Expozap is a device that integrates revolutionary concepts from the field of bio-electricity to test for bacteria in food. By product a current of energy that weakens certain bacteria, this portable device would allow for efficient tracking of pathogens, significantly reducing the skills and tools needed to test for food safety.

Sathi is an app designed for students to organize their day and take care of their mental hygiene. Munch Menu is a simple solution to an everyday problem for students: buying school lunch. It's an app that shows students the daily menu, tracks the number of remaining orders, and allows students to purchase their lunch from their phones! Our product is a compost electricity generator. It is an insulated container that converts the heat produced from compost to generate electricity using thermoelectric modules. It is cooled using water released by a solenoid valve and it charges a backup battery that people can use as a power source.

To combat the school shooting crisis, schools have implemented lockdown drills, in which students are assigned to barricade the door using anything in the room. However, these barricades are inefficient and dangerous to construct as well as often ineffective. Therefore I have designed the Barricade Desk, a stackable school desk that is designed to be used as a door barricade that is super easy to assemble, extremely durable, and completely bullet-proof.

There has long existed a divide in communication between hearing and Deaf worlds. To simplify communication between people who are deaf and those who can hear, but do not know sign language, we created Sign-in: Sign Language Interpreter. Sign-In translates visual American Sign Language cues to English text. Coded in Python, this program utilizes machine learning to take pictures through a camera and associate each picture with a letter from the American Sign Language. Additionally, we have created a website to in order to market Sign In.

Our solution to this problem contains a dome-shaped collector and funnel connected to a barrel filter. An extension tube - to be attached to the end of the barrel filter - is given in the package, however, it is not necessary for the function of this product, it's main function being to allow the elderly and disabled users to be able to stand straight in a comfortable stance and fill their water bottle or give water to their pets. The dome-shaped collector is constructed using high-quality silicone, the legs and filter are made using plastic, and the bushings are made of rubber.

Our prototype is an Automatic Door Lock to ensure the safety of students and staff. Our product consists of a speaker and a locking mechanism, the speaker sends signals to the lock when activated by sounds of gunfire. The prototype we are currently designing includes a one-way lock, this will allow students and staff that are clear of the shooter to get to safety outside of the school and to block potential threats from entering.

Our product solves the issue of having to cut the nails of dogs that are energetic and stubborn. Our product is essentially a rubber headband with a flat piece attached to the front. This flat piece is used to smear peanut butter onto so that while the owner is cutting the dog's nails, it will be distracted.

NutriPill provides an easy way for people to identify and recycle their expired medicine by purifying medication through chemical filtration methods. The device works side-by-side with a web application to scan a medication itself or its barcode and inform the user if they can utilize the device. By transforming medicinal waste into nutrient-concentrated fertilizer, NutriPill significantly reduces the amount of medicinal waste in waterways and the environment.
