Dripping Springs FFA Trailer Check Out Requirements and Expectations
A copy of your insurance and driver’s license must be submitted with the liability form to Ms. Gold

Trailers are to be reserved two (2) weeks before the event the student is participating in. (Availability to be determined on DSHS FFA scheduled events and approval from the AST)
Student must be members of the Dripping Springs FFA.
Any animal being hauled in any DSHS FFA trailer must have ordered tags and validated their animals projects through DSHS FFA ONLY.
Trailers can ONLY be used for animal projects being held on campus.
All drivers pulling trailer must sign a liability form and give a copy of insurance and DL for records.
The trailer MUST be returned within 48 hours completely cleaned out. This includes shavings cleaned out and replaced. This will help prevent anything coming back to the barn from shows that can cause a risk to student’s animal projects.

VEHICLE OWNER/DRIVER WAIVER OF
LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
I recognize and acknowledge that I am voluntarily driving my privately owned vehicle and utilizing Dripping Springs ISD owned trailer for the purpose of providing transportation for myself, my property and/or my child or legal ward to an event/activity. I agree to absolve, exonerate, and hold harmless the Dripping Springs ISD and/or its institutions and employees from liability associated with the operation of a motor vehicle, pulling a trailer, hauling a transport cage, for any and all injuries, and any and all property damage. I understand that the driver is not an agent of the school district and is not authorized or required by the district to provide transportation. I hereby certify that the vehicle which I voluntarily provide is properly licensed and that the required level of automobile insurance is in place. I hereby certify that I am a licensed driver and agree to obey all traffic laws and to drive directly to and from the event/activity. I agree to cover any damages to District owned property while in my care and possession. I acknowledge that upon return the trailer will be clean and any shavings removed and disposed of properly.
I hereby release and discharge the Dripping Springs Independent School District, its trustees, administrators, teachers, employees, officers, agents, volunteers and assigns, all both in their official and in their individual capacities, from any and all claims or causes of action for personal injury or property damage, whether to myself or to the student named below, caused by, arising out of or in any way related to the use of District property identified in this form.
I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dripping Springs Independent School District, its trustees, administrators, teachers, employees, officers, agents, volunteers or assigns from any damages or loss arising from any claim or cause of action for personal injury or property damage asserted by myself or the student named below.
