Meet Mrs. Trussell

Hello my name is Christy Trussell. This is my 25th year to teach at the secondary level. This is my 17th year at DSHS! I have my accreditation as a Certified Floral Designer (CFD) through AIFD. I did the majority of my coursework at the Benz School of Floral Design at Texas A&M. I oversee all floral design and home skills competitions through the FFA organization. I teach Principles of Floral Design, Advanced Floral Design, Principles of Hospitality and Tourism and Cornerstone internship experience.
