In Business Concepts, students implement personal and interpersonal skill to strengthen individual performance in the workplace and in society and make a successful transition to the workforce and postsecondary education. Students analyze the social responsibility of business and industry regarding the significant issues relating to the legal environment. Students incorporate a broad base of knowledge that includes the legal, managerial, marketing, financial, ethical, and international dimensions of business to make appropriate business decisions. Students analyze the primary functions of management and leadership, which are planning, organizing staffing, directing or leading, and controlling. Students will have the opportunity to attain a Microsoft Office Specialist certification in MS Excel.
