Prerequisite: Principles of Audio Video Technology. Must be classified as a Sophomore, Junior or Senior, Credit: 1
You are all in now with audio and video technology and some next level film production that will span all aspects of the digital communications industry. Within this context, in addition to developing technical knowledge and skills needed for success in the arts a professional level of audio and video training and practice is experienced. Students will be expected to develop an understanding of the industry with a focus on pre-production, production, and post-production audio and video activities.
Students will learn to use a camera, lights, and audio equipment with state of the art equipment and facilities. They will also be able to do advanced editing and film production. Students in AV also have the opportunity to create news segments, anchor, and or run our industry standard control center in the production studios for Tiger Daily News.
