Tutoring

The Davis Senior High School Band Boosters are now offering a tutoring program to all junior high and elementary band students. If you would like to set up 1-on-1 lessons for your student, please contact one of the tutors listed below to set up lessons or inquire about rates. Some tutors may offer lessons on a volunteer basis. If your student is in need of tutoring but unable to pay for sessions, please inquire about volunteer lessons either when you reach out to the tutor or through your student's music teacher at school.

Tutoring Session Expectations:

•  The tutor and the parent/guardian of the student will communicate directly to agree upon a time and location for the weekly tutoring sessions.

•  When a session needs to be rescheduled or canceled, the party needing to cancel/reschedule will communicate as early as possible.

•  Payments will be made promptly at each session and directly to the tutor.

•  A parent of either the tutor or the student will be present for each session.

•  Any issues with payment, frequent or late cancellation, or behavior of the student or tutor will be communicated directly to Mr. Sparks (bsparks@djusd.net) immediately.
